Bubble shooting games are my favorite kind to play. I love that they have numerous stages and the fact that the difficulty increases as you move from one level to the next. However, it is not always easy to get a game you can play over and over again without getting bored. This is why I was ecstatic when I came across Bubble Mania. This has to be the leading bubble shooting application on the market. Find out why I love it in this review.

Bubble Mania has uncomplicated graphics with tons of colors which make the game very vibrant. The type of graphics used for this game is quite popular in puzzle games, but this is not a big deal since it perfectly suits the genre. My mark of the graphics is 9 out of 10.

When it comes to gameplay, Bubble Mania is not different from other bubble shooter games. Basically, the app has different colored bubbles at the top of the screen which you are required to pop using the bubbles at the bottom. Between the bubbles at the top, there are critters which you are supposed to free. Matching three bubbles of the same color makes them pop. Your goal should be to pop as many bubbles as possible and prevent them from getting to the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, the game will end.

The iOS and Android app have two different ways of shooting. You can either tap or aim to shoot. These control options are accessible through the settings. Choose the one you think will give you an added advantage in shooting more bubbles and freeing the critters. For both controls, you simply need to swipe your finger through the screen.

Bubble Mania is free for both iOS and Google Android. However, for both versions, there are in-app purchases such as gems, coins and starter packs. These items can be used to purchase different boosters to advance further in the game. The in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $19.99. I think this restricts the game in a way because you can’t do without them, especially in the advanced levels where winning is not as easy as the initial levels. The score of the gameplay is 7 out of 10 because it is not something original.

Replay Value

This App Store and Google Play app for bubble shooting is addicting, to say the least. I play it every single day without getting bored. I like that all the levels are different and challenging. There is no doubt you’ll get hooked on it as well. The score of the replay value is 10 out of 10.

  • Frequent updates;
  • Many puzzles to solve;
  • Incredible graphics.

  • The gameplay is not unique;
  • The in-app purchases are restrictive;
  • Doesn’t have a social aspect.
