Connect 6 is a two-player strategy game invented by Professor I-Chen Wu of National Chiao Tung University in 2003. Similar to Gomoku, the objective is to align six stones in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Unlike Gomoku, where players place one stone per turn, Connect 6 introduces a balancing rule: the second player starts with a single stone, and thereafter, players take turns placing two stones at a time.
Played on a 19×19 grid with black and white stones, the game ends when a player forms a row of six.
